I bought this player even after asking if it supported Atmos and being told no because it went on sale for 99 dollars. I got it home, installed it with my new Onkyo stereo, but in 1917 4K bluray and low and behold the Dolby Atmos logo lit up on the stereo.

A:AnswerYou need to have a 4k Ultra blu-ray player. 4k movies will not play in a blu-ray player. And if you look on the back of 4k movies, It will tell that you need a 4k tv and a 4k Ultra blu-ray player. It should work if you have both of these things.
