- Answer Yeah you need a uhd Blu-ray to get hdr. Some streaming services have 1080 content with hdr but for Blu-ray 4k disks are the only way.

- Answer Yes. To my knowledge, 4K discs don’t have regional restrictions so it should play any disc, from any region. If not, Best Buy will accept returns within a reasonable time frame. Good luck!
