I would first try a different HDMI cable and make sure both ends are seated properly. If that doesn’t fix it, try a different HDMI port in the tv. After that,ensure that you are using a Region 1 compatible dvd and that the dvd is not damaged.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.White specs on the screen is an indication that your HDMI connection is bad. It is most likely a bad cable. Make sure you are using a Ultra High Speed HDMI cable, rated for 48Gbs and your issues should go away.
