Q: QuestionCan I use these handsets with another Panasonic system?I have the Pansonic System with the answering machine (with exactly the same handsets). Can I program these 2 handsets to the other set, so I can use all the intercoms together? I can buy single handsets, but they are more expensive.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Yes. If the KX-TG4012N handsets are compatible with your other base unit then you may deregister the handsets from the KX-TG4012N and register it to your other system. Make sure the handset and your older base is compatible by checking the handset model on the manual of your current base unit.

Q: QuestionDoes the main phone have to be in the center of your home to get clear range on the second phone.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Hi, "No, it doesn’t have to be on that way, you must place it to a location away from electronic devices. For maximum coverage and noise-free ommunications, place your base unit: – at a convenient, high, and central location with no obstructions between the handset and base unit in an indoor environment. – away from electronic appliances such as TVs, radios, personal computers, wireless devices, or other phones. – facing away from radio frequency transmitters, such as external antennas of mobile phone cell stations. (Avoid putting the base unit on a bay window or near a window.)"
