Replacement batteries for most cordless phones can cost as much as the phone. This phone uses standard rechargeable batteries. That was what sold me on it.

If you need a landline phone without all the bells & whistles, just a reliable well priced telephone with one handset extension, this is the perfect product.

Good price, good phone, except..

This phone is good quality and had a great price point. Also nice because there is no answering system attached. The downside is that the ringtones, all of them, are awful. Still haven't adjusted to those after a month. More importantly there is no new message light indicator. You have look at the LCD screen on the handset for that. I am used to my Uniden, where you can see a new message from across the room. The lack of that feature has really affected my rating.

I think this phone is a great product for the price. I have no problems at all. Very little interference or static. Holds the charge. Easy to use.
