Questionon the base it has a place for a battery can I use rechargeable batteries so I don't half to take them out when I don't need them so if in case of power outage I don't half to constantly insert a battery with no lighting?

- Answer In order to use the cellphone with Bluetooth feature and use the connection of the cellphone instead of landline you will need a phone system that has Link2Cell. This model doesn't provide that feature. You can check this link and see models that have Link2Cell: shop.panasonic.com

- Answer Thank you for your question. The maximum number of handsets that can be registered to your base unit is 6. This model comes with 2 handsets, but you can purchase additional ones. The model of the handsets compatible with your base unit is: KX-TGFA30

- Answer Hello, thank you for your comment. If you pair your base unit with a Smart Phone then you can get ALERTS regarding Text messages, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Gmail. Email, Google Calendar and Low battery information. If you have an Android Smart Phone you will have to download the Link to Cell app, if you are an iPhone or BlackBerry user then the Link to Cell app is not required.
