- Answer Hello! It does not support advanced editing features such as adding transitions or detailed video effects. For comprehensive editing capabilities (dividing, trimming, still picture, title, effect, transition, BGM, delete partially), you can use the compatible video editing software HD Writer AE 5.2. -C

QuestionDoes this camera have the ability to film in pitch black environments? I might want to do paranormal stuff for fun and was wondering if it has infrared or something like that. If this camera does not have this function. what other cameras offer this?

- Answer Hello! The camcorder features a night mode. You can record images even in very low light situations (minimum required illumination: approx. 1 lx) or in the dark. Using a tripod is recommended. Additionally, in darker areas, auto focus may focus a bit slower, this is normal. -C

QuestionHow do you actually stop a recording without powering off the camera? This camera seems to only have a pause button.

- Answer The record button is a toggle. Tap to begin recording. Tap again to stop recording. I mainly control recording through the Android APP, which has a red dot in its display that illuminates when recording is active.

Questioni wanted to know if there is a way to keep the camera from falling asleep ? i go into the menu setting in the camera and i turned the economy (batt and ac) off in the setting but the camera still falls asleep after a short period? i want to keep it awake

- Answer Hello, Joshua! After 5 minutes of inactivity, this unit will automatically power off to conserve battery life. However, it should be noted that the automatic power off feature will not activate when using the AC adaptor), USB cable for PC etc, PRE-REC function, during slide show playback, or when using the Wi-Fi function, even if the [ECONOMY (BATT)] setting is set to [ON]. - Answer No, if you are using the HDMI out from your camera HC-V785K to live stream to software on your computer, the video will not be recorded to the camera itself. The HDMI out functionality allows you to send the camera's video feed directly to an external device, such as a computer or a live streaming software, for real-time viewing or recording. Please take note that a capture card is required. -M

- Answer Hi! It is possible to use this unit with power supplied from the AC outlet by turning on the unit with the AC adaptor connected. Even when you use the AC adaptor for recording images, keep the battery connected. -M

QuestionWhat differentiates this camera from the Panasonic HC-V770 HD?

- Answer Hello Sam! Some of the differences between the two models include Intelligent Zoom of 25x in 4K and Intelligent Zoom of 40x in regular HD for the V770K model. Also, V770K records mostly in 60fps: 1920 x 1080p at 60 fps (50 Mb/s MP4), 1920 x 1080p at 60 fps (28 Mb/s MP4), 1280 x 720p at 60 fps (9 Mb/s MP4), 1920 x 1080p at 60 fps (28 Mb/s AVCHD). V770K will also consume more power than its counterpart: 7.6 W when recording and 7.7 W when charging. Besides these differences, the two models are very similar. -G
