- Answer I think it would be great! I use two of them to record my family D&D night and edit them for posting to YouTube. Important safety tip. 4k make HUGE files and makes the video editing more challenging. You'll also need large storage cards. I have changed the cameras to film in 1080p to make the video editing a bit quicker. Good luck!

- Answer Yes - Turn off "Economy" mode for battery and/or AC in the menu and the camera will stay on as long it has power. Take a look at page 35 of the advanced owners manual for more info: http://help.panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/HC-WX970PP/OI/sqw0239/sqw0239.pdf I've had mine on for a full day of video conferences and streaming.

- Answer It is possible to use this unit with power supplied from the AC outlet by turning on the unit with the AC adaptor connected. Yes, additional batteries can be purchased separately. You can also edit in Adobe Premiere depending if the version supports 4K.

QuestionI reset BOTH of my HC-VX870's to factory settings, and they say "Check Card" when I insert any SD card. I have never had a problem with this and I've had these for a few years. Are there any firmware updates for this?? Anyone please help!

QuestionDoes this camera do wireless wireless streaming? I mean connect it to my cell phone and stream straight to Facebook without wires or laptops video capture thingys. I can do that with a GoPro but want a better zoom. Any thoughts?
