- Answer IT is not a satellite phone, if that is what you are asking. it is a regular phone, but can be used with VoIP if you have the adapter from the VoIp service. For e.g if you have vonage, then the vonage adapter is connected to the internet, and you plug this phone into the vonage adapter using a regular telephone cord.

- Answer Peggy, a step by step which i hope works for you. Menu, language settings, voice announcement language, desired setting for Voice ID. OFF/ Save. I found the vocal a bit distorted. When i could discern the words, it gave the type phone (cell) not the caller... which for me isn't helpful. Off is fine for me too. Jane
