Questionmy father is hard of hearing and has a very hard time hearing the messages left on his current machine. does the answering machine have different tone settings or is it good for hearing impaired.

- Answer Hi Zandor, thank you for your inquiry. The volume may be turned up on the main base unit; however it does not offer tone settings. These are the Amplified models with answering machine for hearing impaired. KX-TGM430B, KX-TGM450S

QuestionHi ... How big is the display on this phone ? My wife and I are having a little problem seeing the small LCD display, especially when there is no back-lite. Will the corded function still allow me to use the telephone lines when the power goes out ?

- Answer NOT SURE, YOU COULD TRY OR CHECK WITH BEST BUY TECH TO CONFIRM OR DENY. I USE THE COMPANION PHONES PROVIDED, THOUGH I HAD OTHER PANASONICS, LOVE THIS PHONE AND THE CALL BLOCK FEATURE FOR UNWANTED CALLS.
