Yes, as long as the dashcam is powered on by an appropriate power source at the times you're away from your vehicle the motion detection and parking guard features will capture any activity happening. You have the option of hardwiring the dashcam to your vehicle or you can power it with a power bank that's 7,800mAh or more (more power = more record time).
