The Front Warning Collision System is activated at 40mph, it's not too sensitive but if you find it being too sensitive, you can turn it off in your settings. • A:Answer Yes, there would be a charge for the Best Buy "Geek Squad" to install. However, installation of this "ad-on" automotive security item needn't be fancy and can be done yourself. Just plug into accessory 12 volt (cigarette lighter plug), suction-cup camera to convenient spot on windshield, and then format the SD card (just follow directions in manual) and you're literally good to go. Camera has an on-off switch right on it, or one can unplug from car. To view video files, I shut off unit, removed SD card and put SD card in my home computer and easily viewed the files.

• A:Answer Hi Mark, The dashcam does record at night, this model is equipped with a Sony Exmor sensor that automatically adjust to the time of day to make great night time footage. The dashcam does automatically turn on when the vehicle is started and will begin recording automatically as long as "Automatic Recording" mode is selected in your settings. You can view your files on the dashcam itself via "Playback Mode" or you can eject the micro SD card and insert it into the SD card adapter then insert both into your computer to view them there instead. • A:Answer Yes, this device isn't "wireless" and must be plugged in to operate. Wires will either "hang down" or one can guide and hide the cord around the rubber gasket of windshield. Other options would be to place camera in lower area of windshield, or perhaps in one corner of windshield.

Q: QuestionCan this camera use a standard GoPro mount? My 2018 Tacoma already has GoPro mount on windshield, don't really want to add another.

• A:Answer Chief, I don't think you fully understand. Toyota installs a GoPro mount on the windshield, behind a darkened section. It's sort of equivalent of the suction cup on this camera. If I was going to use GoPro I would still need other half of mount, that comes with GoPro. Previous cameras I have had all have various contorted mounts so it can turn in multiple directions, but were limited to using the suction cup they provide, not even a universal suction cup. Thanks anyway.
