QuestionIt looks like a tower in the picture. The ad says its a desktop. What is it?

- Answer It is both. A desktop computer consists of a Tower, keyboard, mouse, and Monitor as separate components. This is the tower and it is a mid sized tower. It comes with the keyboard and mouse, so unless you have one, you would also need to purchase a monitor. This is a very good tower with high power and fast components. As an IT Specialist, I highly recommend this for most tasks.

- Answer Hello I see that you are interested in knowing how many USB and HDMI ports are on the HP Pavilion Desktop. The HP Pavilion comes with 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0 ports and a HDMI output. I hope that answered your question.

QuestionWhat size is the power supply?

- Answer Dimensions size or wattage size? According to the Specifications Tab the computer's model number is 570-P030. If you lookup that number on google or the HP Website you will find a link to the HP specifications page that shows a pictures of the rear panel and mb layout and a lot of other useful info and states that the power supply is a 180 Watt uATX regular internal power supply. It gives no dimensions for the power supply itself but this computer is pretty small at only 12" tall and deep by 6" wide. Maybe you're asking about this because you are thinking about upgrading from the "on-board" video and thinking about power requirements? I hear there is no such thing really as a uATX size for power supplies - it is actually a motherboard/case size (aka. form factor) the same as mini ATX. Supposedly you can upgrade the power supply using most any power supply designed for an ATX form factor. You would need to measure actual dims of the power supply in this HP to verify that any specific aftermarket one will fit before you buy one though. Another thing to consider: it has been said that the dvd drive is in the way of the PCI-E-16 expansion slot preventing a full height card from being installed unless you remove the dvd drive. Otherwise you would have to settle for a low profile version. If you are like me the dvd drive is pretty much obsolete and is expendable anyway.

- Answer You can use any speakers which you prefer, either USB or 3.5mm connection. It really depends on the quality of the sound you like. You can get basic model speakers up to larger models with subwoofers which provide high quality sound.

- Answer I'm not sure which of our monitors you are inquiring about since the question is on the tower. However, the older monitors will just have VGA whereas our modern ones all have HDMI.
