• There is a mount for the SSD in the case. Keep in mind that the motherboard only has 2 SATA slots are taken up by the HDD and the optical drive. However, if you sacrifice the optical drive, you can install the SSD. The motherboard has 2 RAM slots. Mine came with 8GB of RAM and is only taking up one of the slots. Not sure about this 12GB RAM version.

• Yes, you can add an SSD drive to this as well as add more memory. There are 2 slots.
