• I don't believe the old controller is functional with the PS4... plus, it doesn't have the share and options buttons. Well worth the new purchase though!!

• So sorry, but no. Believe me, I wish it did. It's a fantastic universal remote that I still use to this day. Btw, I advise that you DO NOT buy the PS4 universal remote as I found it to be a grave disappointment and returned it within a week.
