• YES, each player is fully functional on its own, so using each player is possible, I do think you have to buy an additional charger thought cause that is the part that is linked.

• no there is only one car jack but it will work separately if plugged into a wall outlet because there are two cords

• If you used the plug in with the prongs in one car and the car charger type in the other vehicle they should. Or you could purchase an extra charger if your vehicle doesn't have the plug in receptical. That's what's great is they can work together but neither is a slave device to the other so they can be used independently.

• No. There is one plugin for both screens. Now you may try to see if you can buy another plugin car adapter and use both in different cars.
