As part of setting up the bulb as part of a group, you give it an individual name; therefore, the answer is yes ... you can turn it on/off individually as well as with the group. If you have an iPhone, there's a built-in Home app that'll allow you to control the bulbs individually as well.

Please try again later.Yes they can be individually turned off, you name each one separate and turn them off either by the app or by Alexa for instance my ceiling fan contains two lights and I am able to turn just one or both on or off. The each coordinate the colors as well and you can have them set to different colors. They are completely separate and you may also set them to work together as one unit and have the option to use them together or separate
