Q: wave lengths? warm or cold?
A: The Hue White And Color can bet set from 2000k to 6500k, and has a large color range as well, and is dimmable. The Hue White (not the bulb you asked the question about) is 2700k and can only be dimmed.
Q: Can these lights be used as soffits lights outside in cold weather
A: I can't see a reason why not as long as they are protected from the elements!
Q: Does this bulb function fully on a Gen 1 bridge?
A: undefined
Q: Can I turn these off individualy if they are all linked together?
A: As part of setting up the bulb as part of a group, you give it an individual name; therefore, the answer is yes ... you can turn it on/off individually as well as with the group. If you have an iPhone, there's a built-in Home app that'll allow you to control the bulbs individually as well.
A: The hue bridge only works with hue bulbs. I paid mine with Google Home and works beautifully.
Q: Does this work with amazon's alexa?
A: This configuration (as with many others) requires use of a Hue Hub. If you have a Hue Hub, press the discovery button when prompted on Alexa configuration screen and it should discover your bulbs.
A: Yes these will fork with Google home. There are several videos on youtube showing how to do this. Also look into the IFTTT app. With this app you can create your own commands and actions.
