A:Answer It all depends on the WiFi network you are using (what frequency and channel) and what frequency upon which the MRI operates Most magnetic fields are detrimental to a wireless signal, but most of the devices we use have such a small electromagnetic field (shielded radiation) we don't notice a difference. With the massive EMF you will be creating by employing a giant magnet will most likely interfere with your WiFi signal. These bulbs use WiFi to stay in contact with the Hub to get their command signal. My guess is they will not get a proper command signal whilst employing the MRI. But, the bulbs themselves should be safe as you should be able to use most lighting in the MRI suite. They will still turn on and off as you operate the light switch.
The best way to get the answer to this is to try it out for yourself. The setup is very simple and doesn't take much time. So, if it doesn't work, you can always return them and it will only cost you the trip to and from the store and the three minutes it takes you to set up the device. Hope this helps!
