Not really. Especially if you use color. I would at least get the starter kit with the bridge and three lights. That will save you money and you get more bulbs.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have 2 bulbs in my living room on wall sconces and depending on the color and intensity you choose, yes they will light the room up pretty well. I find "concentrate" (scene preloaded on the Hue app) is the best for overall brightness.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the light is bare-bulb then yes, but if it's cases in a lamp it may not. However, you basically have to buy the 3-bulb starter pack with the hub anyway, so 3 definitely will!!!
