• You will need a Phillips Hue Hub to have the bulb communicate to the hub and your android device via wi-fi. I believe this is not directly controllable via Bluetooth

• I think you can with a hub but I didn't. I bought this with the Hue White Wireless dimming kit E26. It comes with a switch and 1 bulb. The switch paired with the new bulb easily and I am very happy with this Philips hue product.
