To control your lights from anywhere, you can't currently use the app but you can go to https://my.meethue.com/en-us/ and turn them on/off or turn a scene on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, you cannot currently use the app if you're away. You must go to https://my.meethue.com/en-us/ instead. You can only turn them on/off from there, not control the brightness, unless you have a scene with a certain brightness.
