Q: QuestionI just hooked up my Philips hue sync box to my Samsung 1080p tv non 4k. The sync box is connected to my Apple TV 4K and then to the tv. It keeps refreshing to find the picture rate. Is there anything I can do or would I have to get a 4k tv?

• A:Answer I would try using a different HDMI cable if you are using the one supplied. If that does not work, try manually selecting the picture rate on your tv.

Q: QuestionWill NOT work with my new AppleTv and SONY A80J.turned on and off all the Dolby settings, nothing. I can get it to work 1080 Dolby is all. Using Phillips certified 8k hdmi cables. I can see the light reaction but nothing on the screen. Ports 3/4 both.

• A:Answer I have mind connected to a PS5, it takes 30-40 seconds before it registers on screen, I run through port 1. Use the app to active the Syncing of the lights. Hope this helps

Q: QuestionThe sync box looks fantastic. There will be times I just want a soft warm glow for ambient light. Can I use the Hue App to select that as an option rather than the full color show? (I already own a Hue Bridge and a few bulbs for the house.)

• A:Answer Yes, you will be able to do that but it has to be done through the normal Hue app, not the Sync app.

• A:Answer Are you running the soundbar through the sync box? I would recommend going to apple tv to sync box and sync box to the tv. Then connect the soundbar to the tv via HDMI or optical cable.

• A:Answer It can not read 120 FPS. The box is only able to pass through 4K 60fps UHD. 120 FPS is a experience yes but so is this lighting. There is a fork in the road pick your path.
