QuestionWhat happens if you lose internet connectivity within your home and lights were left electrically "on" but turned off by the app? Will they reset and be able to manually be turned back on while there is no internet connectivity?

QuestionAre these bright enough for a reading lamp? It says max is 60w which is much lower than I use for reading.

- Answer Yes for me. Im not being snarky but if you need more than 60 to read there might be another problem. I have one in my lamp at opposite side of couch and I can read it just fine and I do wear glasses

QuestionIs there a delay when using the wall switch? Example: you have turned the light off with smart phone and go to turn on the light manually. Turn off the wall switch and then back on. Do you have to wait a few seconds to turn wall switch back on?

QuestionDo I need this with Echo Plus? I bought it, or something similar for $149 but I’m thinking this includes a “hub” which isn’t needed with the plus model

- Answer If you buy any Philips Hue lights, you will need the Philips Hue hub. The bulbs won't communicate directly with the Echo--they will only "talk" with their own branded hub. However, the Echo will allow you to use your voice to turn on/off your lights, once you teach Alexa the skill so that SHE can talk to the Philip Hue hub. So yes, you need to buy a kit that includes the hub (like this one does), unless you already own a Philips Hue hub (or have a friend who has an extra to give you).
