The tough thing about the Sony NW-ZX2 is the android firmware it is on 4.2.2 unless it is rooted, I do not see a plan from Sony to update. This firmware does not allow OTG transfer which is needed to use the Walkman with any other devices with exception to other Sony products. NW-ZX2 not working with Mojo Chord AMP but works with Sony PHA-3. The Pioneer receiver model 832 needs a external hard drive source that is formatted MS-DOS FAT of about 64GB of space (I called pioneer to ask, and tested). .mp3 all the way up to DSD64 works fine, DSD128 works but with some speakers off. I bought the 832 for my father, I can not get any hard drive other than 64GB to work. My 501 works with a 1TB Harddrive. the 301 worked with a 1TB western digital hard drive. I recommend pitching the NW-ZX1 and NW-ZX2 and get a Galaxy S8+ Cell Phone as it supports highres up to DSD128, works with OTG capabilities. My next tip is put your hires music on a 1tb Western Digital passport and purchase either a 301, 501, or 701 if you want a decent size library to play through the Pioneer Receiver.

They are both from the same PDF; one is simply a zoomed-in section of the other. The zoomed in one pertains to your question. I hope this information helps you find the answer you're looking for.
