Q: Does this Pioneer receive AND transmit bluetooth? Can I use my bluetooth headphones to listen?
A: Yes
Q: How well does this product integrate with Spotify Connect, AirPlay, and the like?
A: I have Airplay, but I do not currently have a subscription to the other music services. The Pioneer VSX-832 work very well with Airplay when using my Apple device. I really enjoy using Airplay along with Pioneer Remote app to control the device.
Q: what is a good power sub woofer to use with this receiver
A: I have 2 Pioneer 100watt subwoofers connected each side of room. Works great and still less expensive than one expensive sub. Also more flexibility as to placement for acceptable performance.
