• I have 2 Pioneer 100watt subwoofers connected each side of room. Works great and still less expensive than one expensive sub. Also more flexibility as to placement for acceptable performance.

• I have the Pioneer 100 watt model SW-8MK2. It's an affordable model ($155) with excellent deep bass sound. For a step up, the 400 watt SW-10 model costs about $350.
