- Answer We do not support other devices, like the factory CD player. The DMH-1500NEX does have an AUX input. If you can convert the CD player to this connection, it might work. The CD player would also have to have it's own controls.

QuestionIs there a way to make this unit work when using a iPhone 16 with IOS 18.5? We bought this a year or so ago and it is not compatible currently. Current firmware is 28.02

- Answer While the radio was not certified by Apple, the DMH-1500NEX should work with the iPhone 16, running iOS 18.5. I have tested and was able to use Apple CarPlay. Make sure you are using a quality USB-C cable, no adapters. Please contact our Product Support at 1-800-421-1404, select option 1. They will provide troubleshooting assistance.
