• yes, however DVD's only play when the emergency brake is on, for safty reasons

• If you are talking about the AVH-4200NEX, I don't know if it will fit your car but it will play DVDs. If the installer followed all state laws regarding installation, the DVD will only be playable when in Park and the emergency brake applied.
