QuestionWill this head unit mirror your phone? As in if I pull up my torque pro app on my phone will it display it on the screen as a monitor?

- Answer Unfortunately it will not mirror your phone. The ones that say mirrorlink will and they use wifi. This one uses usb connection for android auto or apple play and they limit the number of apps you can use. I was also thinking the same but found out after installation that it would not mirror the phone. At first I was disappointed but as I use it more, I like it and understand they limit this for the safety reasons. Georgia is a handsfree state and this works well so far. I hope that helps.

QuestionI have a 2003 Ford Escape it says this does fit into my car. My question is can you tell me the manufacturer and numbers on the extras I will need for the install (harness etc.)? It comes up on my cart for add'l but will not give me item information.

- Answer Go to the Car Audio installation center and go over the extras. I needed a wiring harness, steering wheel kit(to connect buttons on the steering wheel, a Sirius module, antennae kit and a trim face plate kit. About $150 worth of extras and $130 extra installation charges beyond the free install they advertised.

QuestionIf you are in a location in which you have no cell phone signal, is the navigation system still going to work?? I know Apple car play is on here and it uses the maps but what if you’re traveling on a long road trip and lose reception frequently??

- Answer The quick answer is No. the GPS runs off your phone and is displayed on the larger screen. It is not a separate app like a stand alone Garmin would be. My cell phone, if the maps app is started in a strong service area and then I drive out of cell service range will keep going. But I can not start a new search if I’m out of the service area. Your phone may be different. Thanks

- Answer The screen folds down to access CD/DVD player. DVD player only works when parking brake is set, but can be bypassed to work anytime.

- Answer You will need the USB. All apple car play radios typically require a USB connection for car play features. You can still Bluetooth for phone and media, but just those will work wirelessly. I do love this radio.

- Answer I am sure you can install it in just about anything you want. Sound quality with Bluetooth is just shy of CD quality. I posted a full review of this unit recently in which I addressed sound quality.

- Answer Yes but you need the Maestro adapter if professionally installed unless you what your doing. Don't expect it with radio only because modifications and modules are demanded to operate all your features plus you get extras like car analysis on your unit screen.

- Answer I don't know about inches but I know the screen tilt to about 90 degree angle to eject or insert CD/DVDs.

- Answer It does come up every time you start the car. It goes away on its own in about 10 seconds if you don't hit ok.

QuestionI bought a pioneer avh 2330 nex a few years ago from best buy and talk to text isn't working. The mic works but goes dead entirely when I try to send a text message. The apps up to date on a phone its worked on previously. Lil help?
