“Compatibility with existing factory equipment I have a 2012 Jetta with bluetooth, steering wheel controls and iPod connector in glove compartment. I know there is an adapter for the steering wheel controls. Will they be able to use the same bluetooth adapter for this stereo? Also can they use the same adapter for the iPod ? Just update it to a lighting cable? Finally, I already have a satellite factory tuner will this connect? I just dont want a bunch of extra cables in the car”

Yes, you can get an adapter for the steering wheel controls to work properly. This unit has it's own built-in bluetooth, so there is no reason to get an adapter for it. You can plug any old Lightning cable right into this unit's USB port, so besides the cable, no adapter is needed. You will probably need to get a different satellite radio tuner though, as I doubt the factory one in your car would work with this unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had an adapter for steering wheel with my AppRadio3 but it was 1st generation - a new one was required and it works much better - I had lost some functions with the old one. As for the iPod in the glove box - I think not
