A:AnswerWhen you get an in coming call from someone on an iPhone the phone doesn’t default to answer via Bluetooth. So hit the speaker icon on the phone and select the Bluetooth. I haven’t been able to figure out any other way. Out going calls work fine.
A:AnswerI have an 06 Expedition Eddie Bauer with sub and steering wheel controls.
I bought the adapter with the subwoofer plug. (Metra 70-5521 for my vehicle. Double check for yours.) You plug this into the factory harness. Blue/white wire is power for the factory subwoofer amp. ( Note: aftermarket radios supply 12 volt power to the amplifiers. You will need a resistor to lower the voltage so you don't get a pop when the power comes on. Plenty of info online how to do this, or Best Buy radio installer can help.)
RCA plugs into the subwoofer output of the radio.
Steering wheel controls are available from aftermarket interfaces, which will plug into the back of the radio. I bought a PAC SWI-RC steering wheel interface online, but most brands will work. Just match it to the vehicle, not the radio.
A:AnswerI had a great tech install mine. I know that with my vehicle he had to undo some issues with the wiring that someone else caused. It sounds like a wiring issue.
I would have a different tech look at the stereo. This will hopefully get the problem solved. Another set of eyes is always a good idea. Maybe even go to a different BestBuy to avoid bias.
A:AnswerHello. Most speakers do not have rca low level jacks . Most OEM. speakers use a molded connection with female spade connections which you would could use to the back of radio highlevel outputs , Now If you’re changing the stock OEM door speakers you’re going to have to cut off the connector and add female spade connectors to the existing wires to hook up the new speaker
