      120 watts 2channels drivin at 8 ohms 200 watts 2 channels drivin at 4 ohms this receiver cannot put out 1400 watts, all channels having 4 ohm capability makes this an attractive, powerfull reciever.

        Yes and this definitely has a ton of power. All my speakers are 4ohm. Your polks will rock with this.

      so im in the process of building a home theater. if I set this up receiver up only can i hook just a soundbar for the time being? Meaning just using a set of rca plugs or optical to run the soundbar. I realize it would not be really getting used.   (2 Answers)

        That doesn't make sense, a sound bar has its own power. You don't need the receiver.
