“How are you supposed to get lossless audio and atmos/DTSX from devices connected to your TV without EARC? It’s the new standard and this is a newer model. For how much it costs, it’s ridiculous it doesn’t support it.”

I am in the same situation, but it's not really a big deal, because the streaming services on my Smart don't utilize loss-less audio. For my other components that do, I just connect them directly to the receiver itself, rather than the TV, and let the receiver do the switching between sources.
