QuestionHow are you supposed to get lossless audio and atmos/DTSX from devices connected to your TV without EARC? It’s the new standard and this is a newer model. For how much it costs, it’s ridiculous it doesn’t support it.

- Answer I am in the same situation, but it's not really a big deal, because the streaming services on my Smart don't utilize loss-less audio. For my other components that do, I just connect them directly to the receiver itself, rather than the TV, and let the receiver do the switching between sources.

QuestionCAn this model do 7.4 without add-one?

- Answer No, this receiver does not have the ability to go above either a 5.2.4 or a 7.2.2 configuration, even with an external amp. It will cost a bit more, but a Denon AVR X3600H will give you 9.2 out of the box and all the pre-outs to add an amplifier capable of expanding to 11.2 channels, or 7.2.4 surround.

- Answer 225 watts per channel at 6 ohms or 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms (based on the guide sheet).

QuestionI have last yrs. Elite 9.2 VSX-LX303 model. It is set-up for 5.1.4 but the rear atmos speakers don't light up on my front display as the fronts do. When I test all the speakers sound does come out of them though. Any suggestions ??

QuestionI have an old Samsung TV purchased from Best Buy it doesn't have eArc? Will this receiver work with my TV? My Samsung has got such an awesome picyure.

- Answer Although what answered earlier is true in general, now that read the specs and manual I see that this Receiver does not have eARC either (just like your TV). Thus, it would be ARC to ARC between your TV and this receiver anyway.

QuestionI can play the tv and satelite through to the outside speakers but when I flick it on to the radio the outdoor speakers don't go? Not sure why this is, any help would be appreciated

- Answer I don’t have the receiver in front of me but I don’t remember seeing a turntable/phonograph hookup however I don’t see why you couldn’t use the CD port or other device port for that

QuestionDoes this unit have an optical sound output? I wear hearing aides that are Bluetooth compatible. My old Xfinity TV box had an output but the 4K box does not. I have to plug in a BT TV connector. If there is not one, I have to get an HDMI audio extractor.

- Answer When you see power per channel, think of a channel as a “speaker” in your system. So the answer is 9.2
