Although what answered earlier is true in general, now that read the specs and manual I see that this Receiver does not have eARC either (just like your TV). Thus, it would be ARC to ARC between your TV and this receiver anyway.

Please try again later.Yes, eARC is backwards compatible, meaning a TV that has ARC, but does not have eARC, will still be able to send back data to the receiver over the TV’s ARC-enabled HDMI port. Of course the TV will not be able to utilize the additional (“enhanced”) capabilities that eARC has in addition to ARC cabilities.
