Q: QuestionI am looking for a camera that will interface with my existing screen in a 2014 jeep summit. I need something that will assist in backing up a boat and can look behind the boat when traveling.

• A:Answer Tp properly add This Camera to the vehicle described requires additional Parts to properly interface with your factory screen. Pac Audio BCI-CH41 or something similar is required to read the CAN-Bus system in your Jeep and tells the radio to switch to camera while reverse gear is selected. it also my require a trip to the dealer to turn this feature on in the radio. Also, field of view is good with this camera, but while boat is being towed, vision behind vehicle is limited or not visible unless camera is attached to the Roof of the vehicle, which is not recommended.

• A:Answer For the Pioneer Back up Camera, I just had to pay for installation and there was some miscellaneous charge of $5 or $10. Think it was either for disposal fee or miscellaneous parts. Of course I assume your vehicle had a video input for the camera. It doesn’t require a special installation kit like the stereo head units.

Q: QuestionI have 2008 Mercury Grand Marquis LS. How does IF/this work with my car? I have no video screen. I really don't need GPS as have with iPad phone & don't wish to lose my tape player from the factory along with CD player.
