“I have a USB hard-wired headset that I use for web conferences and calls when working remotely. Does this device connect wirelessly through wifi or Bluetooth only? I'm not sure my laptop has Bluetooth-- And is there a mute button? Thanks in advance.”

The unit has a mute button on the headset but it is a hard wired base with a spread spectrum radio headset. It does not use wifi or Bluetooth

Also I wanted wireless, so I ordered a Plantronics C052 thru Best Buy. Its great! Works thru wi-fi and it does have a mute button. Kinda pricey, but well worth it for me.
