This is an "Ultra - Thin Profile" circular polarizer which would be a good choice for your camera, using a 40.5mm lens. The entire circular polarizer unit is approximately 7 mm thick. The threaded base mount which would screw into your (camera) lens is approximately 4 mm thick. The rotating bezel which contains the circular polarizer lens is approximately 3 mm thick. These measurements are approximate and probably on the high side because I did not have a vernier caliper handy, so I measured it with a steel rule. I rather doubt that you could find a circular polarizer any thinner than this unit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Sorry, but I don't have a way to measure the filter. However, I bought this to go with my wife's new Sony a6300, and see no vignetting in the end photos. We had cross shopped the Sony with the Olympus, and the very knowledgeable salesman said that he recommended this filter for either camera. Hope this helps. It's a very good filter.
