• You just take it back to Best Buy. Platinum is one of the Best Buy brands, so Best Buy is the one to replace the cable. I actually just went through the process last week.

• I keep the packaging for my cord, if something like a charging cord offers a warranty, register it. Contact Best buy if you need help, they've always been helpful to me
