- Answer Both usb plugs, c and a, use usb 3.0 protocols so itll be same either way. Just extra plug for convenience.

- Answer I use this to read mp4 video files from a camera. I plug the card into the reader and the reader into the usb slot on my computer. I play videos directly from the reader. I can also transfer them to my computer to play later. I hope this answers your question.

- Answer You can transfer photos and videos, simply insert your SD or micro SD card into the designated slot and plug the stick into your laptop, tablet or smartphone’s USB-C or USB port. You cannot connect an external drive into the card reader.
