This PNY 1600 is about as fast as you can get. IT WOULD BE RIGHT AT at home in your system. I prefer PNY over other brands and have always bought the fastest available. If you have duel channel memory then this is what you need. I have a custom built system with a Phenom 8 core CPU and a GTX 970 video card and it runs everything I throw at it.

This would work with your laptop as long as what you have now is running at 1.6GHz or 1600MHz if what you have now is not 1.6GHz then this may not work.
