Yes, it will work with Ubuntu
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it will. I ran linux mint and ubuntu on 2 different SSD'd.. the PNY And Kingston. I dont think the OS is as choosey about the drive as it is the motherboard and especially processor architecture. Its usually the later which determines what OS can be loaded and used in the system.. for instance..on older pc's as you know, you cannot load a 64 bit version of windows on the system since the MB and/or Processor are only capable of handling 32 bit architecture, which is why most older Dells with windows xp cannot upgrade to newer versions of windows.. However, since Ubuntu and Linnux are very versitile OS's they will work in those older pc's. So in short, its usually a case of onboard RAM or processor, or the age of the MB if it cant be further updated for upgrade, that delegates the OS.. not so much the drive, if at all.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Any SSD should work the same. The only time I have had any problems was creating an image for a system. Intel SSD's work for me all the time and there was one brand that made it harder to create a backup image for my system. That was two years ago and the technology is better now.
