• No. All macbook air laptops have integrated SSDs on the system board.

• No it will not. Macbook airs use proprietary firmware and a different form factor (physical shape) SSDs. Either go with an original SSD or get one from OWC website. Make sure to match the laptop model to the SSD you're going to buy. Not all SSDs from MacBook Air are interchangeable.

• A SATA drive will only work in a 2008 or 2009 MacBook Air. If it is newer then it is not SATA
