• Macs are weird. They may support but the next version may not. Better stick with what came with the computer.

• I believe any SSD would work with MAC Trim.

• Macs only enable TRIM for the Apple-provided solid-state drives they come with. If you upgrade your Mac with an aftermarket SSD, your Mac won’t use TRIM with it. Unless you use this guide to do it. http://www.howtogeek.com/222077/how-to-enable-trim-for-third-party-ssds-on-mac-os-x/

• I'm not sure----it works on my mac but it's not the same size---the connection is a basic usb so if you have not had issues iwth others I would think yes this would be fine
