Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You can look around for a cheaper laptop. All laptops made in the past 8 years or so should be able to read from the disk. You can probably find a good one for around $200. If this is too much for you, find someone with a computer you trust.

I mean your computer should be able to access it - as for calling up the information, you would need a program that supports the file type. Example, say you created the files with MS Powerpoint, then on the 'portable' or any other device, there would need to be software on that device that is able to at least read a Powerpoint document.
