Hello, the Polk Audio PSW10 subwoofer allows for 2 types of connections. RCA or Speaker level input. If running an AV receiver, connect the subwoofer to the LFE pre out(subwoofer pre out) from the receiver to the Subwoofer via RCA subwoofer cable. Connecting to a stereo receiver with no sub out, use the speaker level inputs. Your front speakers can connect to the subwoofers speaker level out or to your stereo receiver. Polk Audio offers wonderful speakers from small satellite speakers to large floor standing speakers.
