QuestionWhen I change the channel on my Samsung TV which is connected via HDMI ARC to my Polk Signal soundbar no sound comes out of the soundbar UNTIL I change channels and then go back to the channel with no sound. It then has sound. I changed cables w/noluck.

- Answer Hello, you can stream music from your iPad to the S2 Soundbar via Bluetooth. The S2 will not Re-transmit to headphones.

QuestionI play music through bluetooth while gaming. When i hit the “home” button on ps4 controller, music stops, and switches to tv. If i mute / power off the soundbar, it still turns on by itself in the same scenario. Can it just stay in the mode i leave it in?

- Answer This is a HDMI control feature (CEC) through the PS4 or the TV. You can try turning off the HDMI control CEC, but this will limit other features. When the sound bar receives a Bluetooth command, the CEC kicks in communicating with all devices using HDMI control.

QuestionBy looking at the paperwork supplied with the Signa S2 It appears that a green light should appear under the white light indicating Dolby is detected via the HDMI and or digital connections, I can't make this happen no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

QuestionI turn the bar on. All three lights come on then after three seconds two go off. There is only one light on and no sound. Help!!!! I have reset it, and have turned off the auto shut off. Did not work.

QuestionSound works great on TV, wanted to use the remote control that came with it and I can't seem to make it work. Battery is good and no light indicator on remote so how do you know when it is linked up? Lights on the bar?

- Answer Yes, a bummer the remote does not light up! To turn on, the remote must be directly pointed at center of sound bar. It will briefly display 4 white lights and single blue light. The solid blue light confirms your Bluetooth connection. The sound bar will shut off after duration of inactivity. I’m not sure if there’s a setting to change feature. For me, I don’t mind the auto shutoff feature. Hope this helps..

QuestionCan I use the fire stick remote to control the sound once hooked up? (I will probably use the HDMI connection.) I had a Bose soundbar in the past -- great sound but was forced to use the Bose remote; did not like.

- Answer Yes. If you use the ARC HDMI connection. I sometimes have to first turn on the soundbar with it's remote, then turn on my TV. The firestick remote will then control the volume of the soundbar.

- Answer it comes with two rubber bushings to protect your walls. However, you will need two drywall anchors with screws to hang your speaker. i love the signa s2 it sounds great however, the first one i bought was a dud i had to return it for a exchange. just my luck. my new one is awsome.

QuestionMy soundbar is connected but once you turn off the TV and soundbar, the following day for some reason it disconnects from the TV, the soundbar turns on but no sound comes out, only the TV sounds is on, how do I get the soundbar to connect on its own?

- Answer Check you TV settings to activate(deactivate) external devices. We have a Samsung TV. I stumbled onto the feature to activate external devices. So far this has solved this problem for us. Best of luck!
