QuestionJust a quick question, not just for Polk but for all sound bars, are they compatible with computers. Thanks in advance.

- Answer It depends on what method you'll use to hook them up. This Polk unit only has a single HDMI connector so would not be the best solution for computer use. You'll want a soundbar that has either a digital optical input or RCA (red & white) analog inputs. If your PC has the digital optical output look for a unit with that connection. The RCA connector typically limits you to stereo sound, the optical input is higher quality and you might be able to get at least simulated surround sound.

- Answer I have not had this issue.....BUT, when turning on the power.....the blinking with the green dots for a little while is normal, afterward the pairing should be done. If not, there is a sync button on the back of the sub called "bar sync" try pushing it to re-sync it with the sound bar.

- Answer Hello, the Polk Audio S2 Sound Bar comes with a wireless subwoofer. No additional speakers can be added to the S2. Please consider our Polk Audio MagniFi Max or React soundbars. Both come with the option to add wireless surround speakers. The Polk Audio MagniFi Max SR Sound Bar comes with wireless rear speakers.

- Answer Hello, in the Blu-ray settings, be sure to turn on the HDMI control. After confirming that the TV and all sources have HDMI control activated, check connections. Blu-ray to TV HDMI, TV to Sound Bar via HDMI ARC. Finally, you may want to set your Blue-ray audio out setting to PCM. Further assistance required, contact https://support.polkaudio.com/

- Answer Hello, the salesperson must have been referring to the Bluetooth feature. I apologize for the confusion. The Bluetooth feature is designed for music streaming from a smartphone or smart device. However, If the Samsung TV has a Bluetooth retransmit feature, the two can be paired. Please note that there may be a voice delay. It is always best to hardline the Sound Bar to the TV via HDMI ARC.

QuestionWhen I press Voice Adjust buttons on the Signa S2 remote the purple light on the sound bar flashes on for an instant but does not remain and there is no voice adjustment. Also the same for movie, music and night buttons. How can I fix the problem?

- Answer The Polk Audio S2 Sound Bar should not be connected to a receiver. It is designed to be connected directly to your televisions audio output. Can be connected via HDMI ARC, Optical, or analog audio. The S2 Sound Bar also comes with a wireless Subwoofer for placement flexibility.

- Answer Hello, the S2 sound bar does not retransmit a Bluetooth signal. It can only receive a Bluetooth signal. Consider connecting a aftermarket Bluetooth device to your TV. Some Televisions come with Bluetooth retransmit feature. Check your TV for specifications.

- Answer Connect the Sound Bar via HDMI ARC if possible. Power cycle both the Sound Bar and the TV by unplugging both from the outlet. This will reestablish the CEC between the TV and Sound Bar. - Answer You have to mute the tv. I have noticed that sometimes when the tv gets turned back on the volume will come back on as well but it needs to be turned all the way to 0 and muted or there will be an echo because the sound bar and the tv get the information at different times which creates an echo.

QuestionWhen I connect my sound bar to my samsung 65in smart tv, everything sound great except I can no longer see the volume bar on my tv. Not a huge deal, but it does bother me not knowing if I’m at half volume, quarter volume, full volume, etc. Any help?

- Answer This is a limitation of this Polk S2 sound bar. The TV screen only shows icons displaying the Volume + and - sign when you are adjusting the volume. There is no 'volume bar' to indicate where your volume is at.
