- Answer You have to hold the Bluetooth next to your phone and push the back button that’s behind the speaker and go into settings to Bluetooth on your phone and turn on Bluetooth then it should pair together.

QuestionThe latest model number from the manufacturer is 87300-201. the model number listed here is 87300-64. Is this an old model? Poly on sells one model so I am concerned that this is not the latest version. Please explain. Thanks

QuestionPLT v5200 is a great earpiece but it all of a sudden won't charge. When I plug it on no lights flash or anything. Please help can't afford another one right now and I need this for work.

- Answer make sure there are no bits of metal on or near the connection. because its magnetic it will grab metal bits then won't make contact.

If you're phone provides voice text and receive text as voice, the app needs to support Bluetooth devices for that function. QuestionCan I use this headset to project my voice to my students as if I were speaking thru a hand-held microphone? There is a lot of noise in our new classroom because of the air ventilation system and I want to be able to project my voice ABOVE the noise.

- Answer My plantronics bluetooth easily connects to mulltiple devices (phones or "Alexa etc.} For my needs I beleive Plantronics bluetooth is the best on the market. It gives me clear hearing and speech on all good wi-fi communications. I get very clear signals every where in my home. It warns if I leave my phone behind before I get too far. As a blind person who can never find his phone, I has been a blessing.

Questionhow do I change the ear hearing piece to the smaller one?

- Answer You push it down (gently) and turn it. Sort of like the cap on a medicine jar. There are two little tabs that need to line up with the slots on the headset piece. It took me a couple tries to get it right, it really seems like the gentler you press and turn the easier it moves.

- Answer Hi Jess! We would need to verify the exact model of your landline phone to verify compatibility. As you may know, this model is compatible with any cell phone or tablet that supports Bluetooth headsets. Many devices nowadays are equipped with native Bluetooth; However, not all of them support Bluetooth headsets. BT Technology works through different profiles and these are the ones the earpiece requires to at least allow a connection: Bluetooth Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP), Headset/Hands-Free Profile HSP and HFP and AVRCP. If you're currently using a regular landline phone, the headset does pair, yet we are unable to guarantee optimal performance in terms of connectivity, range and audio quality. To isolate the cause of the issue, we strongly recommend you to test it with a cell phone and confirm you get the same issue. If that is the case, then please ensure the unit's firmware version is up to date through our Hub Software for Desktop: https://bit.ly/30jDXJM. This might also be related to the smart sensors. They detect the pressure from your ear when wearing the earpiece, but there can be several conditions triggering them like wearing glasses or having the earpiece a bit loose from your ear, consequently sending the call back to the phone instead of staying in the earpiece. - Answer Hi! The battery is built-in within the earpiece, it cannot be removed. The earpiece is rechargeable. To charge it, you need to align snap-fit the magnetic areas of the headset and USB cable.
